This illustration is inspired by the place where I grew up called Legend Garden, in Shunyi Beijing. A compound surrounding a picturesque Chinese garden, with a large pond, willow trees, lotus flowers and traditionally adorned stone bridges. It was a place to feel safe and calm. A place to go for walks or sit by the side of the pond and watch the goldfish. This is another one of my chinoiserie inspired prints, that is heavily influenced by my attempt to create Chinese calligraphy. This print is intended for wall paper design or to be printed on fabrics for fashion as well as interiors. It would also work well as a print for packaging,
