Every year I look forward to the start of June because that is also the start of Lilac season.  It is such a short, but exciting time when the lilacs bloom in the beginning of summer in Sweden. They are so fragrant and beautiful. I wanted to create a print that feels quite nostalgic and summery, so I decided to combine the lilac print with a Swedish rose named after iconic children's book author Astrid Lindgren. And of course where there are fragrant flowers, there will always be bees. I think this print could be really beautiful for both interior design and fashion prints.
